WIPO invites you to the first hands-on IP Finance Guide, which will assist businesses and intellectual property (IP) owners in leveraging IP to secure loans. It outlines how IP can support debt financing, prepares users for discussions with lenders, and provides insights into the lending process.
The opening address will be delivered by Mr. Marco Aleman, Assistant Director General, IP and Innovation Ecosystems Sector, WIPO. During the launch, Ms. Lally Rementilla, BDC Capital, Canada, will share her experience from an investor's perspective on how to successfully access IP finance.
Following will be a panel discussion of IP finance experts from Singapore, UK, South Korea and Guatemala, who will provide useful tips for creators, innovators, IP owners and businesses to raise capital using their IP assets.
