Meet your Expert:
Ms. Kusanova is a technology transfer consultant with WIPO's IP for Innovators Department (IPID), where she endeavors to develop and promote IP tools, implement capacity building programs related to technology transfer and institutional IP policies. She is also involved in projects focusing on support innovation, technology transfer and commercialisation of IP.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a Master’s Degree in WTO and EAEU Law from St. Petersburg State University, as well as an LLM in International Economic Law and Policy from the University of Barcelona. Her fields of expertise include international trade and intellectual property, as well as the nexus between these two areas: transfer of technology. Prior to joining WIPO, Ms. Kusanova also worked in other international organisations, such as the ITC, WTO and UNDP, working on issues related to IP and technology transfer.
