Introduction (English): Cynthia Barcelon-Yang is the Director, Scientific Information and Patent Analysis Group, Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS).
Cynthia leads BMS Scientific Information & Patent Analysis Group, providing value-added analysis of scientific and patent literature across R&D, legal & business development and developing her group’s capabilities in text mining and data visualization.
She is actively involved in the Patent Information User Group, Inc. (PIUG) and is currently on the PIUG Board as Director-at-Large (2012-2016).
Cynthia´s topic will be "Patent Analytics for Empowering Business Decisions".

Cynthia fournit analyses de valeur ajoutée de la littérature scientifique et des brevets pour la R & D, le développement juridique et d'affaires, et dévelope les capacités de son groupe dans l'extraction de texte et la visualisation de données.
Elle est activement impliquée dans le groupe d'utilisateurs de l'information en matière de brevets PIUG et elle est actuellement membre du conseil PIUG en tant que Directeur (2012-2016).
