The TISC was officially launched in Nigeria in December 2012. To date, the national network numbers 8 peripheral TISCs, most of them universities. How to make the TISC network operational and effective was the concern raised during the above-mentioned discussion. In this regard, the representative of the Government requested the organization of a TISC workshop in Abuja, Nigeria, from 13 to 15 June 2017.
