CAAIPO SEEKS COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVES

Dear eTISC members,

                                The Caribbean and Americas Intellectual Property Organization is continuing its expansion globally as we press for social change through the use of technological development, innovation and intellectual property rights and protections. We believe that many communities in developing countries can achieve a balance of economic and technological development while preserving traditional knowledge and culture.

CAAIPO is a non- profit educational,developmental and research organization with headquarters in Jamaica, West Indies.Our work encompasses providing technical training resources in IP and technological development at all levels in communities and to government agencies. We utilize the best resources in IP in developing countries, cutting edge research and scholarship to help communities find the best IP fit that can work for them.

We are currently seeking persons who are interested in becoming our national representatives in their home countries. This is a voluntary post suitable for those who wish to contribute to social change in their communities. Approved representatives will be given a letter of appointment and a certificate for display. He or she will be given regular briefings on CAAIPO programs and will be required to attend bi-monthly online meetings and to promote CAAIPO on social and local media from time to time. Representatives are also invited to attend the CAAIPO annual conference.
