May 12, 2022

The annual PATLIB conference is organized for PATLIB centres across the European Patent Office's (EPO) member states. These centres provide local access to patent information and related issues.

The PATLIB Conference brings together some 300 centres in the network to discuss pertinent issues relating to the centres and to share experiences. This year's Conference will highlight:

  • How the EPO and the EC partner on the topic of innovation valorisation in Europe and seek to improve co-ordination and collaboration on the European, national and regional levels;
  • How to gain an understanding of how the introduction of the Unitary Patent will facilitate access to patent protection and provide better value;
  • Finding out how innovators and innovating SMEs can access EIC and other EC programmes, and hear about success stories; and
  • How to gain an insight into best practice cases in relation to intellectual asset management.

The first day of the conference is co-organised with the European Commission and places the PATLIB network in a European context. Owing to its digital format, the first day of the event is this year again, open to professionals outside of the PATLIB network.

Take advantage of this great opportunity to join the PATLIB 2022 Annual Conference.
