The Inventor Assistance Program (IAP), launched as a pilot project in the Philippines and other participating countries, has been featured in a recent article in the Manila Times.

IAP aims to support under-resourced inventors and small businesses in developing countries to successfully obtain patent protection for their inventions by matching them with patent attorneys who provide free-of-cost legal assistance.

TISCs play an important role in IAP, assisting in the evaluation of applications submitted by inventors and small businesses and supporting these inventors and small businesses by providing technology search services and other related services.
