The Federal Service for Intellectual Property of Russia (Rospatent) and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) have made their trademark data available via TMview search tool.

The integration of Rospatent and USPTO data is a result of cooperation programme managed by OHIM. This recent extension brings the number of offices participating in TMview to 34 and with the addition of more than 400,000 Russian and 6,8 million US trademarks, TMview provides information and access to more than 20 million trademarks.

Link between WIPO’s Global Brand Database and OHIM’s TMview

Last year, OHIM and WIPO enabled the link between the Global Brand Database managed by WIPO and TMview. The next development phase, which will involve closer cooperation at data level to provide integrated search results, is planned for this year. It will continue the expansion of common functionality and standards on structure and format of data.
