The Patent Information User Group (PIUG) has announced that applications for the 2013 Brian Stockdale Memorial Award are now being accepted.
The Award covers membership in PIUG for the current year as well as conference registration and standard travel expenses up to 2000 US dollars for the PIUG Annual Conference.
The Award is open to patent information professionals with less than 3 years total work experience in the field of patent information as well as to students currently enrolled in a college or university with a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in patents, in particular in patent information.
The deadline for submitting the application essay is February 8, 2013. The application should be sent by email to Edlyn Simmons at edlyns@earthlink.net.
