The ASEAN Lab-to-Market (L2M) Program is now open for applications!

The World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) is launching the Lab to Market (L2M) Program, funded by the Republic of Korea thought its Funds-in-Trust. L2M program is developed to fill a research translational gap in the ASEAN countries, and it aims to provide technology transfer professionals (TTPs) with skills and mentoring support to commercialize IP.
L2M consists of the following three phases:
- Training and Networking: up to 40 selected participants will attend in person ATTP-accredited training focusing on IP and Market strategy, and Thailand Innovation Policy Forum in November 2025 (WIPO will cover travel and accommodation costs of up to 12 selected participants);
- Mentoring: up to 12 selected projects will receive 1:1 mentoring support with expert technology commercialization mentors for up to 9 months;
- Final event: all participants will be invited to attend the final online showcase event.
Both the training and the mentoring will be delivered by Oxentia Ltd, an innovation management consultancy based in Oxford. To date, Oxentia has worked with clients in more than 70 countries. These include multiple years of experience in ASEAN, specifically in Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia, working with local governments and UK founders and partners.
