Sandrine Ammann joined WIPO in 2001 as a translator; after obtaining a degree in management and communications, she has been in charge of the promotion of WIPO’s global database: PATENTSCOPE, Global Brand Database and Global Design Database.

Noëlle Moutout is a national of France and Mexico.She studied Law in France and has a master and a post-graduate diploma in International Law.

She has worked for the International Trade Center (ITC) in Geneva, on collaboration projects for the development of SMEs in Latin America, before specializing in industrial property.

She joined WIPO in 2001, where she worked as a Trademark Examiner in the International Registration Division and subsequently as Team Leader of the International Applications Examination Unit.

In 2007 she joined the Law and Legislative Advice Division and she currently works as an Associate Legal Officer in the Trademark Law Section. She participated in several training activities in national trademark offices, in relation to the International Nice and Vienna Classifications. She also participates on a regular basis in training or awareness-raising activities relating to WIPO-administered treaties, in particular the Trademark Law Treaty and the Singapore Treaty on the Law of Trademarks, as well as on more general trademark-related topics.
