The Workshop will complement the training provided during the Regional Patent Analytics Workshop which was held in August 2013, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and will also bring together representatives from research and development institutions and universities in Brazil as well as representatives from selected IP offices in Latin America providing patent analytic services. It will also serve as a platform for discussion and feedback to the Manual on Open Source Patent Analytics Tools which is currently under preparation.
