A complementary toolkit to the Guide on IP in the Public Domain has been developed to provide additional practical tools for facilitating analysis and decision-making in the use of inventions in the public domain.

This online course will  provide TISC staff and other learners with training on how to use the tools included in the toolkit, and in light of the shift from traditional onsite activities to the digital delivery of training services in 2020, a virtual training package based on a first set of seven tools (out of 15 tools) has been developed.  The virtual training package includes pre-recorded presentations introducing the concepts and tools from the toolkit, sets of data to be used for practical exercises on how to use the tools, and a live training component to be delivered through a series of virtual lectures and simulation exercises.
